Car Crashes Into Couple’s Bed

A young couple in Saanich, B.C. had a rude awakening when a luxury car slammed into their bedroom at around 2 a.m. on Thursday.
The couple was asleep in their basement suite on Carey Road when a man drove his red Jaguar through an intersection, clipped a fence and a parked car, and then smashed into their home and into their bed.
While the upstairs landlords were awoken in the commotion and all residents were shaken up, police say no one was injured.
The 51-year-old driver tried to flee, but suffered head injuries and was escorted to hospital after police picked him up a few blocks away.
