Mom Spent 4-hours in Bar While Girl Waited in Truck

When a deputy responded to a report about a child, about 7 or 8-years-old, being left inside a pickup while its mom was drinking in a bar, he saw a woman, Sarah Elizabeth Morrison of Fort Walton Beach, in the driver’s seat of the truck and a girl in the back seat, reports the Northwest Florida Daily News in Fort Walton Beach.
Mom allegedly told the deputy that although she had been inside the bar for about four hours, she did check on the girl every 15-minutes or so, according to the deputy’s report.
The deputy also reportedly found oxycodone pills inside the truck.
