Woman’s body snatched from New Jersey cemetery
July 31, 2012
Police are on the hunt for a group of grave robbers who broke into a mausoleum at a New Jersey cemetery and stole the body of a 98-year-old woman who was laid to rest there 14 years ago.
Workers at the Atlantic City Cemetery in Pleasantville said the crypt’s door was pried open and that the coffin that housed the body of Pauline Spinelli was empty inside.
Investigators believe the ghoulish crime was committed sometime between Thursday night and early Friday morning.
