Man Borrows Pen to Write Hold Up Letter

DeLand police said they are looking for a robber who held up a Dunkin Donuts on South Woodland Boulevard.

Officials said the robber didn’t come prepared, because he asked to borrow a pen to write his hold-up note last Thursday.

The man threatened that he was armed, and the clerk handed over the money from the register. It’s not clear if he actually had a weapon.

Police released two pictures of the man they said is responsible.
