Victim Uses Facebook And Twitter To Find Men Who Robbed Him
September 28, 2012
People normally use Facebook and Twitter to keep in touch with friends and look up old flames.
But one man used it to track down the men accused of robbing him.
Sam Drummond turned detective on the gun-toting pair who are accused of stealing $2,000 from him after realising he had the phone number of one of them.
He typed in the number into Facebook’s search option and came face to face with the man ‘who had robbed him at gunpoint’, the Sun Sentinel reported.
The 26-year-old discovered the profile picture with the tagline ‘Crime Pays’ and a photo of Billy Jean Jacques spreading out a pile of money.
