Husband Assaults Wife With Sandwich

A man has been accused of assaulting his wife with a sandwich during a violent row over where they lived.
Larry Spurling, 50, allegedly pushed the woman down onto their bed and rubbed the snack into her face as they argued at their home in Melbeta, Nebraska.
The row is reported to to have erupted after Mr Spurling accused his wife of making him live in the country and for causing his ‘boredom.’
He was charged with disturbing the peace for the alleged attack after his wife called police on Sunday evening.
The sandwich’s exact filling is not known, but a police officer found several pieces of lunchmeat on the carpet outside a bedroom and some pieces of bread in the bedroom, the Scottsbluff Star-Herald reports.
