79-Year-Old Man Helps Chase Down Thief

A 79 year old man has helped police catch a thief by running after him until he dropped a piece of paper with his name and address.

James Marr ,who runs an average of 6 days a week, says he took off after the thief when he spotted a Duane Reade worker chasing a man with what appeared to be a full laundry bag while yelling “stop thief’.

Marr decided to help when he saw the worker was falling behind and chased the man until a court document bearing his name and address fell out of his pocket.

27 year old Trevor Vasca was arrested shortly.
